Some cute illustrations. Judging by that tiger in that new year pic, it was 2 years ago haha
an awesome terrible sight.
Late Late Late Entry
Slow Dancing, they just got married :D
This is technically super late, but it’s too cute not to post, and also I’m terrible and haven’t posted a new challenge yet, so, oops! I’ll do that now.
I was a week late to the weekly challenge, yes, yes it is really ironic. Also, I am a huge sap.
It’s our last show!
I love american style advertising illustration.
cameo over here :D
Accept, this is your burden to carry.
She gets what she wants, and not above threatening dumpy looking princes to get it. “M-Milady! what are you doing?” Dumpy squeaked out
WELL OBVIOUSLY I CAN’T WRITE OTL but I imagine they argued and dumpy wondered what happened to the princess, femmefatale doesn’t like dumpy who wears his heart on his sleeve and sometimes kinda old-fashioned, sidles with big bad who seems harmless but seeks to overthrow the rug out of dumpy’s crown and start hullabaloos. femmefatale gets over her head because big bad is really crazy. dumpy somehow in the worse clumsiest way possible, saves her. She bullies him because she cares :D
lions in the north
I really liked the crosshatch going on here
Did this for a fake book cover for an exhibit, I hope it gets in!
Phew! Pixeling sure is hard, amirite? WRONG. While those pixels won’t align on their own, you can force them to cooperate! Through brute force even. Don’t get soft on those pixels, they SMELL WEAKNESS.
Actually this is just the process of the shiba inu post haha:
Step 1: The Dumpy Drawing
Every beautiful shining piece starts out as a gangling doodle. I find it helps to make more complicated pixels if you do a sketch for the pixel first.
Step 2:Resize and clean up
The sketch is resized to the actual size of the pixel art…which is really small.
cleaning up those lines
separating the different parts for easy animation, in this case, it’s the dog, the holes and the bone. Also cleaned up the dog more.
YES THAT’S IT! GOOD JOB!now onto:
Step 3:Cut it off, man! (animating via cut-outs)
By using the lasso tool, you can move pixels around to make simple movements. like flicking an ear!
When you move those pixels around, you end up with something like this. Those poor poor legs. So you have to re-touch those parts that got jostled.
TADAH! basically, just keep adding frames and moving things around! while this is limited, you can accomplish a surprising number of movements using this technique.
When setting the transparency, it’s a good idea to use a really noxious color you won’t use so you won’t have accidental holes.
This is just a guide or a starting point for anyone who wants to make pixels, not a solid rule or anything. I used GraphicsGale for this but the gist can be used in any program. Try it out!
Hi new followers! Nice to meet you! :D
a shiba inu that can not decide were to bury it’s bone
eikthyrnir, you have to choose very veryyyyy wisely!
